“Why is this website so ugly? Aren’t you a web designer?”
This website is ugly for a reason: I’m in the business to make money, not make this blog look pretty. To ensure that I post every day (…or close to it) about my progress, I’ve chosen to create a blog that focuses more on providing a daily progress report — sans the daunting task of adding relevant photos, tweaking my WordPress theme for increased functionality, and all the other crap that comes along with owning a profitable blog that consumes a lot of time.
The honest truth…
Let’s face it, when you work a 14 hour day, the last thing you want to do at the end of the day is spend time fooling around with your blog. In fact, you may even notice that the word count for this particular blog and its posts are much shorter than those of my website flipping blog which teeters on the edge of 2,000 words per post. Such a lengthy word count, coupled with the fact that it on average takes me 3 hours to create what I deem a “worthy” blog post is why I don’t post as often on my main blog. However, because I desire to not only hold myself accountable but also track my progress along the way to making $10k in monthly passive income, I’ve decided that this blog should be short, sweet, and to the point without the frills.
